Dear Baby B
It was around this time last year that we were finding out that we would be having a precious little girl in our home. I remember being so overwhelmed with joy, I could hardly contain myself from telling the whole world! But we wanted to wait till Christmas to tell our family. So much has changed since then. You have changed my world immensely. Your smiles light up an entire room. You are bursting at the seams with personality. Not a day goes by that you don't make your dad and I laugh. Your stories are the best! Even if they are at midnight, your dad and I lay awake listening to you and your stories. Sometimes I think you even bust out in song. You will be our little singer girl. I'm not sure what you will do when you grow up, but I can already tell you'll be amazing at it. You are so strong and coordinated at such a young age. You can sit like a champ. You've mastered crawling at six months. You can pull yourself up onto anything, including walls, chairs, couches, the t.v. stand, stairs, well.. anything! You are even starting to let go of things and are trying to stand by yourself, which blows my mind. You are EXTREMELY determined. Once you see something you want, you don't give up until you get it. Which is one thing I absolutely love about you and hope you will keep throughout your entire life. You are very strong willed, smart and observant. But at the same time you are the sweetest, most loving little girl. You don't like to cuddle. So when you do, I cherish those moments. You are starting to smile for the camera because it is in your cute face so much. You smile at every stranger who greets you, and you smile even bigger at the people you know. You are a VERY good eater. The only thing you don't like is green beans. I mean, you literally gagged when I had you try them. But other then those we haven't found anything else you don't like. You always want to eat what mom and dad are eating. I try to trick you and feed you your food, while I eat mine. But you are way too smart. You shove your spoon away and grab for mine. There is no tricking my girl! You like to do everything on your own. If I give you your sippy cup, you grab it and try to drink on your own. When I'm feeding you lunch, you try to grab the spoon and do it on your own. The only thing you don't like to do is hold your bottle when your tired. You like mom to do that. You love being anywhere but home. {you sound a bit like your mom} You absolutely hate being cooped up inside all day. Even if we just walk around Walmart, you are a happy girl. We will have so much fun when the weather warms up. I have a feeling we will be at the park A LOT! I hope you look back and read these to see how much you have changed our little family, for the better. And how much we appreciate your little spirit in our home. You are the light and life of our worlds. Love you to the moon and back.
Love,
Mom and Dad
