7 Months
The day after Christmas, our girl turned 7 months old. Every day she does something that totally amazes Mitch and I. Like I said in my last post, she has mastered crawling. She is climbing on everything in sight. And as of late she is trying to stand a few seconds with no hands, on her own. When I got home from work on Friday, my mom spotted her latest and greatest. She can climb stairs on her own. We also have a little walker that she is starting to push as well. Gosh, this girl is growing faster every second these days. I just stare in amazement at the determination this little girl has. She's reaching higher, standing longer, and doesn't stop until she gets what she's after.
She's sitting in her big girl high chair. She absolutely LOVES it! And mom loves it even more because she is forced to sit still for ten minutes, and I can get her hair done while she's sitting there!
Our girl had her first driving lesson this week! She's the cutest little driver I've ever seen...
And to add to this week of firsts, she got her very first HAIRCUT! Thanks Aunt Jenny. Her reversed mullet was getting a little too out of control for her mom. So, as much as I hated to see it go, it looks a lot better having the front the same length as the back..
Brikelle is in the same size of diapers as last month. She is eating EVERYTHING! Which is so nice, because we can feed her bits and pieces of what we are eating. She loves everything she's tried, we even gave green beans another shot and she likes those too. She is already growing out of a lot of her 6 month clothes and is fitting in a majority of her 9 month clothes. Our girl is growing like a weed! She started sleeping through the night again, which saved her moms sanity! I was about to LOSE IT! There were a few weeks when she was waking up every 1-2 hours and I almost lost my mind. But she's doing great. No teeth yet. I think they keep teasing her and are floating close to the top but have yet to surface. Our curious little sunshine is starting to giggle, laugh, play, tease, and is gaining quite the little attitude. I LOVE this stage! She is So much fun and is becoming more hilarious by the minutes. Christmas this year was so awesome with her, even though she had no idea what was going on, she brought such a sweet little spirit to our home. I can't wait til she actually knows what is going on! I can't believe it's almost a new year. That means our little bean will be turning ONE and that just blows my mind. Thanks little girl for making 2012 one of our most spectacular years yet! Love you!!
