the perfect weekend....
A few of us went and spent the weekend in San Francisco.. We stayed at the Marriott right in downtown San Fran, it was perfect walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go! We basically just started the day off by walking down the piers and taking fun pictures. We ate lunch at Pier 39, and afterward we went on a boat ride that took us beneath the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. It was such a beautiful day! A little on the chilly side compared to the unbearable heat we're used to in Fresno. We watched the fire works from the pier over the waterfront.. I LOVE fireworks and the 4th of July and San Francisco was just the perfect atmosphere to spend our 4th of July this year.. The next morning we woke up and went to " The crookedest Street" It was definitely crooked.. I wonder if the people who live on that street get tired of all the hundreds of tourists taking pictures out their window everyday?? I guess that's what they get for living there! Our next adventure was Baker's Beach! Nothings better then spending the day at the beach in your jeans and sweatshirts! ha It was a little to cold to go swimming, so we just took fun pictures in front of the great view of the Golden Gate Bridge.. We then made our way to the Oakland Temple.. It was SOO Beautiful. Everything was so green and beautiful there.. And it had an awesome view of the city.. We saw some missionaries there that knew my cousin Jordan who is serving in the Oakland CA mission! Me and Mitch were going to go find him, but they said it would be impossible to track him down since they are never home.. So I just told the missionaries to tell my cousin hi and send him our love... After our temple experience we started home before we had to start another week of boring work... It was so fun having the boys take off a day of work to spend with us. It's annoying only having one day a week to play with your husbands.. So I loved every minute of our "vacation" this weekend.. I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! OHH and by the way me and Mitch have been married for exactly 6 months and 2 days. It's going by soo fast! I guess it's true what they say....Time flies when your having fun!
This is Mitch in a Magic show.. the trick was all the boys started out sitting on little stools, and the magician "Magically" made the stools disappear so the boys had to stay up with just the strength of their legs and relying on the other persons stomach haha it was very entertaining!
