Two Months

Hi everyone, I'm two months old!!

22 inches-36% in height
11.42 pounds-67% in weight

Baby B has been an adventure this month! She's formed quite the little attitude. Ok, let's be honest. Quite the LARGE attitude. Boy, she sure learned that fast! It's a good thing she's cute people, because some nights I've considered selling her to the circus! No, she really is a sweet heart, she just has her moments. I really shouldn't be complaining, because this baby girl of mine is sleeping almost 8-9 hours a night, and then sleeping in till noon! {We've got a mini-teenager on our hands} I will admit, I kind of love her little episodes because I'm the only one who can calm her down. It makes me feel super important. Every night when she starts to cry, Mitch hands her over and I get her right to sleep. Mitch's dad says I've got the touch ;) Well I sure hope so after living with her 24 hours a day for two months! It's been so fun figuring each other out. She's on a pretty great schedule right now and is very consistent. For instance, right at 8:30 this girl begins to fuss because she knows it's time for her tub. And boy does this girl LOVE her tubby time! I've taken about an hour of video footage of her in the tub because I just can't get enough of it. She kicks and splashes and jumps around like a little bunny rabbit. Hilarious I tell ya! I would post a video but I feel a little weird posting her adorable naked bum for all to see.. When this girl isn't throwing her teenage girl tantrums, she is smiling and talking up a storm. We've got a little chatter box on our hands that's for sure. She also loves when mommy is singing to her, she tries to sing along. But come night time, if I even try to whisper a song she gets super mad! I-yi-yi... Even her dad trying to give her kisses at night is a losing battle. I guess the terrible two's apply to her two months ;) She got her vaccinations at her last appointment and she was MAD! The nurse even said, "That sounds like an attitude cry, not a pain cry." Even the nurse caught on to her little attitude. I guess we will never have a dull moment with that girl around!

This girl is getting stronger EVERY MINUTE! I am nervous that by the time she's 6 months shell be stronger than her poor mom! We will definitely have our hands full. She's already rolling over from her belly to her back, to both sides. She's already trying to stand by herself! She's so wired all the time, its' hard for me to settle her down. She just wants to be on the move AT ALL TIMES! Even in her sleep I feel like she's trying to get up and crawl away. Shes growing up too fast and I demand her to stop!
These have been the greatest two months of my life little bug! A little frustrating at times, wondering if I still have a clue what I'm doing. But we're taking it one day at a time, and I wouldn't have it any other way than spending all day, everyday with my best little friend. I figure if we're best friends during this teenage times of yours, we'll definitely stay that way during your real teenage years ;) Can't WAIT! Love you my sweet girl.
Love, Mom

P.S. I did a little post on our Trulie-Scrumptious blog and would LOVE your opinions. Love you all and baby B loves you too ;)

She is sooo cute!!! When did you start doing a schedule at night? I can't decide when I should try to start putting my baby on a schedule such as tub-time, feed, rock, sleep....Sounds like you have it down! I wish my kid would sleep 8-9 hours. Im lucky if I get 3.
