Hello 3rd Trimester

So glad this is the last, and final trimester before the babe gets here. My 2nd trimester was so good to me. No sickness, no nausea, an absolute breeze. Other than the slight depression I went through when I bought my "big girl pants" last week. {And maybe a few hormonal break downs} So- I had a pair of magic pants. My magic pants were doing great and have been with me from day one of this pregnancy. But then the zipper started to not stay up, they became a little faded, and the final straw was, I somehow got bleach on the leg of my amazing magic pants. I think this was the universe's way of telling me it was time to move on and get me some new ones. So I relentlessly went up a size (or two or maybe three) in jeans and said goodbye to those magic jeans I wore almost everyday for six months. I've decided that instead of my belly growing, the pounds I'm gaining are going straight to the butt and thighs. At least I had lots of cushion for my nasty RhoGam shot I had to get. Thanks dad for giving me that negative blood of yours. But, other than the shots, horrible nurses and pokes from getting my blood drawn, I really can't complain. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE feeling my baby move {even if 98% of the time she lives under my right rib and causes me lots of pain} it's all worth it just to feel her little kicks and jabs. She is so active and I can tell she's all ready to come out and join us big kids in the real world. I can't believe we're almost to the single digit weeks! I hope it goes by quick ;) Oh yes, I have a funny story that I want to remember. When we were in Idaho, I had this lady keep staring and staring at dinner. I have met her a few times, so we know each other {sort of}. A while later she comes up to me and says, "I'm so embarrassed, I'm glad I heard someone ask how your pregnancy is going because you don't look pregnant at all! I was over here thinking you had gotten a boob job!" Thank you lady for that little confidence booster! So here's to the third trimester, please be good to me and go by extra fast. I know I say this every time, but I sure can't wait to meet our little bundle of joy!
