Spoiled Girl

Baby girl, you're already so spoiled and I can't even help it. I don't usually enjoy sewing, but I'm only working two days a week. SO, to fill my spare time I've been creating outfits to doll you up in. They've turned out pretty good for a mom who taught herself how to sew! I have three other projects already cut out, they just need to be all sewed up! And some good news, I've finally decided on your nursery colors! So my next projects include: bumpers, crib sheets, crib skirt and new pads for your rocking chair.. I'm just on the hunt for the perfect material. {any great tutorials on these anyone??} I'm also wanting to paint your dresser, crib and rocking chair black. {is it safe for the baby to paint a crib? Any tips would help-thanks!} So, we've got lots to do and so little time! Ok, so we still have 12 weeks, so that gives me a little bit of time to get everything prepared for your cute self... A few people have been asking how I made these dresses of yours, so here's the scoop... Lime Green Skirt-SO EASY! Find the tutorial for this HERE This one is your daddy's favorite ;) Find tutorial HERE This one was surprisingly easy, and I feel like there are so many options we can put with this! Different colored cardigans, ribbons, you name it! Find this tutorial HERE This one was my LEAST favorite to make, and I envisioned it a lot cuter, but you'll still look adorable in it! Find it HERE This one is from our trulie-scrumptious blog HERE This is the same tutorial as above, with a few modifications. But you can find it HERE My favorite thing about these dresses is they are all made out of your daddio's shirts. So, they're obviously not the cutest materials, but re-purposing old shirts was a lot more fun!
