Baby B.
You are simply amazing.
That pretty much sums you up. A-Mazing!
Not a day goes by that you don't do or say something that completely catches me off guard and makes me stare at you in total awe and amazement. You can say ANY word. I caught you saying cinnamon yesterday. I have a video of you saying strawberry and chocolate. You say, "Hi mommy" every morning when you wake up, and when I walk in the room to steal some kisses you point at me and say, "my mommy." That is pure joy right there. Having you look and point saying I'm your mommy. I am thee most proud mom. I'm probably overboard annoying. I post a zillion pictures and take a zillion and ten videos a day because I'm afraid we will forget these little amazing things you are doing in your life right now. You know how to do the signs for the itsy bitsy spider. You sing VERY well for a 16 month old. You also know the patty cake actions, but you'd rather patty cake with your toes. (which you call toesies) You know where eyes and nose, toesies and belly button are. We're still working on mouth and ears. I wish I could write down every word you've said, but we'd be here all day! Every person who meets you is shocked at how much you can say and how well you say it. If you see a boy at the store you always say, "HI Buddy!!" as loud as you can. (we're in trouble folks.) You say bye to every person you meet followed with an adorable wave. If they are lucky you'll even blow a kiss.
Kisses are far and few between with you little missy. And I've only heard you say I LOVE YOU three times. But your snuggles and loves make up for it.
You are OBSESSED with Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto. You never say Donald, but you talk about the rest of the gang constantly throughout the day. And it's not just Mickey or Minnie, it's always, "MY Mickey, My Minnie!" I guess you just have to make sure everyone know they are yours. You are very good at sharing. You're always trying to share your snacks and drinks with one and all. "Mink" is what you call your drink. Where you picked that up from, I have no clue. Mitch and I are now calling it, "mink". So it will probably be called a mink for the next few years. And I'm ok with it.
I just put you in a gymnastics class and you my little missy, are a superstar. You are keeping up with girls that are 1-2 years older than you! The only thing you're not quite catching onto is the Hands in cheer and the human train. I guess you don't like touching other people, not sure what that's about. But i'm sure you'll catch on soon enough. You say JUMP constantly. And you're forward rolls are superb. I love watching you learn and grow, and like I said, I'm amazed on a daily basis.
You do have quite the little attitude. If things aren't going you're way, Look out!! But you can go from sassy to sweet in an instant. And your sassiness never stays for too long. I'm sure that will change with age ;)
I'm grateful you know JUST what you want and what you don't want. It sure makes it easy for mom when you can already choose what you want. I ask you what you want for lunch and it's either, "noodles, taco, nuggets, sauce, or snack." You LOVE snacks. You could eat snacks all day long and be happy.
I am so proud of your Brikelle Ashton Rowbury. You have yet to live a single day without putting a huge smile on mom and dads face. We're nervous to have another baby because we love spoiling you so much and it's hard to think we will be able to love another child as much as we love you! Not a day goes by that we don't ask ourselves how we got so lucky to have such a beautiful, smart, funny, happy, sweet, feisty, amazing little girl in our life. Thanks for being a part of our family. We love you!
